Fitting the rear emblem

Check 

• Check guide pins (1)  and nozzles (2)  for damage.

» The guide pins (1)  are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the rear emblem.

Parts:  Rear emblem

Result 

» The nozzles (2)  are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the nozzles (2)  .

  Parts:  Grommets

• Remove adhesive residue from the trunk lid.
• Clean the adhesive area (1)  .

Consumable
Cleaning agent R2	500 ml	83190417324

• Adhere to the air drying time of 2 min.

• Coat guide pins (2)  of the rear emblem (1)  with lubricant.

Installation aid
Lubricants G14	900 ml, Can	83232360412

• Detach the liner from the bonding surfaces of the rear emblem (1)  .
• Insert the rear emblem (1)  into the nozzles with guide pins (2)  and press on all sides.
