Removing the inner door opener

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
Refer to REMOVING THE POWER WINDOW SWITCH ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE .

Disconnect plug connection (1) .

If applicable, remove the present LED module.
Drill out and/or grind down the spot-welds (1) .
Feed out and remove the inner door opener from the door trim panel.
