Removing the rollover protection

Precondition
- Convertible top is open.
Convertible top compartment lid is in the open position.
Wind deflector is removed.
Rear seat backrest is folded.
Preliminary work

- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL AT THE TOP OF THE ROLLOVER PROTECTION SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE UPPER CROSS MEMBER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE THROUGH-LOADING SYSTEM TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL AT THE BOTTOM ON THE ROLL-OVER PROTECTION SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING RECEIVER FOR RADIO REMOTE CONTROL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TELEMATICS CONTROL MODULE .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Disconnect plug connection (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Remove the LTE antenna (3).
- Disconnect the wiring harness (1) and unclip it from the brackets.
- Loosen the nuts (2) and remove the bracket (3).NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the seat belt guide loop (2) and put it aside.
- Loosen screws (1).
- With the aid of a second person, guide out the rollover protection (2) upwards.
