Remove front door trim panel

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage of high-quality surfaces.
Plastic wedges can damage high-quality surfaces.

Have the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329) ready.

Unclip the cover (1).

Loosen screws (1).

Unclip door trim panel (1) at the marked points using a suitable special tool.

Release door trim panel (1) with detents (2).
Lift the door trim panel (1) over the operating rod (3) upwards.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
Release the detent (1) and feed out the Bowden cable for the inner door opener (2).
Thus, the Bowden cable for the inner door opener is automatically fed out (2) from the door opener.
Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (3) and remove the door trim panel.
