Installing the support for the bumper cover

• Feed in the support for the bumper cover (3) from the front.

  If necessary, connect any present connectors.

• Replace screws (2).

  Parts:  Screws

• Position the screws (2) and hand-tighten them.
• Position the screws (1) and hand-tighten them.

• Position the support (1) so that the bore (3) is in the center to the recess (4).

  The surfaces (2) must be parallel to each other while doing so.

• Position the support (1) so that the surfaces (2) are parallel to each other.

• Tighten the screws (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  The setpoint torque deviates from the adjustable torque when using special tool 2 464 950.

• Convert setpoint torque into adjustable torque:

  (setpoint torque * L1)/L2 = adjustable torque

  L1 = length from the center of the grip to the reversible ratchet head

  L2 = length from the center of the grip to the center point of the ring on the special tool

• Tighten the screw (1) with the special tool 2 464 950  and the torque wrench.

  The special tool and torque wrench must be aligned with tightening the screw.
