Install both A-pillar trim panels

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Install A-pillar trim panel

WARNING: Airbag unit .
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Before working on the airbag, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Replace faulty clips (3).
Parts: Clips
Remove the clips (3) remaining in the body and insert them into the trim panel (2).
Thread in the A-pillar trim panel (2) at the dashboard and secure it with the clips (3) on the A-pillar.
Make sure that the edge protection (4) is fitted correctly.
Tighten down screw (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS

A-pillar trim panel to body
Tightening torque		2.3 Nm
