84 31 550 Removing and installing/replacing hands-free microphone, driver's side (i3 base, i3s)
Special tools required:
- 00 9 340
Removal:
Lever out the microphone (1) as shown using the special tool 00 9 340 .
Pull the microphone (1) out of the headlining.
Unlock and disconnect corresponding connector.
Replacement:
Loosen the detent (1) and remove the microphone (2) from the trim (3).
Installation:
Connect the corresponding connector to the microphone (1).
Fit the microphone (1) into the headlining (2).
