61 33 050 Remove and install/replace right fanfare horn

Preliminary work needed:

Refer to RELEASING FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER AT FRONT AREA .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2).

Remove fanfare horn (3).

Installation note:

Insert guide pin on holder into corresponding hole on support for bumper cover.

NOTE: Electro-mechanical fanfare horn is installed standard.
The electronic fanfare horn is only installed in China, India, Russia, South Africa and Gulf States as of 01/2011.

Distinguishing features:

Electro-mechanical fanfare horn has a black connector (1)
Electronic fanfare horn has a white connector (3)
Only the electro-mechanical fanfare horn has no adjustment screw (2)
Holder (4) is vehicle-specific and may deviate from the graphic.
