Install engine compartment fan

• When replacing the engine compartment fan: Remount the temperature sensor (1).
• Unclip temperature sensor (1) from the engine compartment fan.
• Check the temperature sensor for damage and, if necessary, replace it.
• Clip in temperature sensor on the engine compartment fan.

• Install engine compartment fan (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Engine room ventilator on deformation element
  M8 screw	Tightening torque	12 Nm

• Tighten down screw (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Engine room ventilator on vertical strut
  Screw M6	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Connect the connector (2) on the temperature sensor and clip in the cable on the fan cowl.
• Connect connector (1).
• Install the sound insulation (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
