- Supply a drip pan (1) and the special tool 0 490 133 (00 2 030)
.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Risk of mixing up Do not replace the expansion tank of the low-temperature coolant circuit with the expansion tank of the coolant for the heater circuit. - Loosen the sealing cap (1) on the coolant expansion tank (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Fold the front section of the wheel arch cover on the rear left (3) to the side.
On vehicles with range extender
- Unlock coolant hose (1) and detach.
- Drain, catch and dispose of coolant.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Fold the front section of the rear right wheel arch cover (3) to the side.
- Unlock coolant hoses (1) and (2) and detach them off the coolant pump (3).
- Drain, catch and dispose of coolant.
