51 16 383 Remove and install/replace damper for glove compartment

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING GLOVE COMPARTMENT .

Unclip damper (1) from retainer (2) and slide back in arrow direction.

Turn damper (1) approx. 90° in arrow direction and disconnect.
