51 13 316 Removing and installing or replacing trim strip on roof gutter at left or right

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING TRIM ON SIDE PANEL AT FRONT .

Open door at front and rear.

Unscrew the screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 13 1AZ .

Pull trim strip (3) out of clamps (2) in arrow direction beginning at the front.

Installation note: 

To avoid noises and leaking, check clamps (2) for damage.

Replace faulty clamps (2).
