51 13 174 Remove and install (replace) rear outer roof frame trim rear on left or right

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 321 

Preliminary work needed: 

• Refer to REMOVING FRONT OUTER ROOF FRAME TRIM .

Remove clamps (1).

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clamps (1).

Release roof frame trim (1) from detents (2) in arrow direction with special tool 00 9 321  .

Installation note: 

Detents (2) must not be damaged.

Release roof frame trim (1) in marked area from detents (2) in arrow direction with special tool 00 9 321  .

Remove roof frame trim (1).

Installation note: 

Detents (2) must not be damaged.
