51 71 360 Removing and installing/replacing the tailgate seal
Follow the notes on lining SEALS .
Preliminary work needed:
- Refer to RELEASING REAR GAS SPRINGS on trunk lid.
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SPOILER .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT CAPPING .
Detach seal (1) from trunk lid cutout.
Installation note:
Begin installation at upper center.
The contact point (2) of the seal (1) must be at the bottom center.
Make sure seal (1) is correctly seated on body and all trim panel parts.
