(Removing both door sill cover strips)

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Bending of plastic components. 
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components. 

• Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
• Continue unclipping the part as soon as possible without using the tool.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Release the door sill cover strip (1) from the floor panel using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) at the clips (2).

• If necessary remove the clips (1) from the floor panel (2) and insert onto the door sill cover strip.
