Removing the top windshield panel trim (bottom part)

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE VANITY MIRROR LIGHT AT THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COUNTER SUPPORT FOR THE SUN VISOR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE ROOF FUNCTION CENTER (FZD) .

Removing the covers for the interior rearview mirror 

• Release the cover panels (1)  in the center from the detents with a suitable plastic wedge and remove laterally.

• Release the top windshield panel trim (1)  with a suitable tool at the clips (2)  and guide out downwards. Feed out the wiring harness at the same time if necessary.
