Remove the number plate baseplate for the license plate

WARNING: Malfunction of the sensors of the assistance systems.
Incorrect assembly of the license plate leads to a malfunction of the sensors of the assistance systems.

Only install the license plate and number plate baseplate according to the predefined dimensions in the repair instructions.
Attach the license plate and number plate baseplate to the bumper cover without pre-drilling , otherwise there is a risk of damage to the cables underneath.
Only use number plate baseplates that have been approved for the vehicle type.

European version :
Loosen screws (1) .

Remove the number plate baseplate (2) .

Loosen screws (1) .

Detach and remove the number plate baseplate (2) downwards from the guides.
