Removing the airbag sensor on the B-pillar

All work on pyrotechnic parts may be carried out by technically experienced and appropriately trained personnel only.
Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

Preliminary work

Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
Refer to REMOVING THE STORAGE NET .
Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR THE TOP ROLLOVER PROTECTION .
Refer to REMOVING THE SEAT BELT FINISHER STRIP .
Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR THE BODY PILLAR .
Refer to REMOVING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .

Unlock and disconnect connector (1) .
Loosen screw (2) .
Remove the airbag sensor (3) on the B-pillar.
