Remove Hood

Prerequisite

Vehicle doesn't have active pedestrian protection.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE JET CHAIN PARTIALLY .

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects .
Paint damage .

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

NOTE: The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.

Support the hood.
Release the nuts (1) and (2) and remove the hood.
