Remove rear door trim

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
Releasing the screws in the rear recessed grip (G05/G07)
- Press the cover (1) on the arrow in a downwards direction and remove it.
- Loosen screws (2).
- Lever out the cover (1) on the inside door handle with the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020)
and release the screw underneath.
- Lever out the cover (1) using the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020)
as depicted and unscrew the screw underneath.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unclip the door trim panel (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) on the clips (2).
- Feed the door trim panel (1) upwards out of the window channel strip and pull it away from the door a little.
Make sure that the cover for the door window frame is not damaged (mask off if necessary).

- Detach the Bowden cable of the door opener (1) on the counter support (2).
- Detach the Bowden cable of the door opener (1) on the door lock (3).
- Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.
- Remove door trim panel.
