- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVE FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT BRAKE VENTILATION DUCT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL ARCH COVER AT THE BOTTOM FRONT LEFT AND BOTTOM RIGHT .

Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Loosen screws (1).

- Guide out and remove the support for the lower bumper cover (2) to the front.
