Mounting the rear door weather strip

NOTE:

- Hang the rear door weather strip (1) over the door with the open lip facing inwards.
- Sealing joint in area (A) position.
- Glue the rear door weather strip (1) as follows:
- Gradually detach protective film
- Align seal (1) to match the specified dimension (X) or template and press on lightly
- Check the position of the rear door weather strip (1) and correct if necessary
- Do not overstretch or compress the rear door weather strip (1) when positioning it
- Maximum permissible sag of the rear door weather strip (1) during the positioning process is 30 mm
- Always apply pressure perpendicular to the bonding surface to affix the rear door weather strip (1)
- Affix rear door weather strip (1) with firm thumb pressure
Area Dimension x A 4 mm B 7 mm C 5 mm D 5 mm - Create a sealing joint in area (A), and shorten the rear door weather strip (1) accordingly as needed.
- Position the rear door weather strip (1) along the template (3):
The edge of the rear door weather strip (1) is flush with the mark (4) of the template (3).
