Installing the right luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (without 3rd seat row)

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Installing left luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (without 3rd row seats)
- Release the cover (1) from the rear at the detents (2) and remove it.
- Version A:
- Feed in the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) at the trunk lid lock. Hook the Bowden cable (1) in on the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
- Connect and lock the present connectors.
- Version B:
- Feed in the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) at the trunk lid lock. Hook the Bowden cable (1) in on the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
- Connect and lock the present connectors.
- Correctly position the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (3).
- Make sure the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (3) is seated correctly on the tailgate seal.
- Clip in the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (3) at the clip in the upper area.
- Install the expanding rivet (1).
- Tighten the screw and mount the cover (2).

- Variant without electrical roller cover for luggage compartment:
Install the expanding rivet (1).
- Check whether the detents (1) and guides (2) are present and have damage; if necessary replace the cover.
- Install and lock the cover (1).
