Removing the right seat

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components .
Scratches, surface damage .

Fold both back seats forward.
Using the special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) , carefully unclip the cover (1) and (2).

Loosen screws (1).
Adjust both back seats into the normal position.

Carefully unclip the covers (1) with the special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) .

Unclip the emergency lock (2).
Fold down the back seat backrest (1) by pulling the emergency lock (2).

Disconnecting all battery ground leads

Unclip the cable clip (1).
Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
CAUTION:
Heavy component .
Heavy components can lead to injury or damage .
- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.

With the help of a second person, carefully lift the right seat (3) out of the vehicle.
