Install the rear window

• Check the hook and loop tape (Dual Lock tape) (1) on the body and the rear window for damage and availability.

  A damaged or missing hook and loop tape (Dual Lock tape) (1) must be replaced.

• Check the spacer buffer (1) for damage and availability.

  Damaged or missing spacer buffers (1) must be replaced.

• Keep 2 glue cartridges ready.
• Prepare 1 glue cartridge with the standard nozzle C.
• Apply bead joint in area (1).
• Apply adhesive bead within the mark on the rear window

  	b = Width	7 mm... 9 mm
  	h = Height	11 mm... 13 mm

• Carefully perform the following actions on the rear window (1) with the suction lifter
  • Bring it parallel to C-pillar
  • apply and press at the bottom on the seal
  • Align sides evenly
  • evenly press all around and snap-in at the hook and loop tapes (Dual Lock tape)
• Make sure that the seal (2) lies evenly on the tailgate (3).
• Secure rear window (1) with adhesive tap on the roof.

• Remove adhesive tape (1).

• Attach the cable to the cable brackets (3).
• Connect connectors (2) and lock.
• Tighten down screw (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Ground strap to trunk lid
  Oval-head screw
  	tightening torque	4.5 Nm

• Attach the cable to the cable brackets (3).
• Connect connectors (2) and lock.
• Tighten down screw (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Ground strap to trunk lid
  Oval-head screw
  	tightening torque	4.5 Nm
