Removing the right soft-close motor

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE RIGHT D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE RIGHT REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL UPPER SECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE FLAP IN THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON THE RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM ON THE RIGHT SIDE WALL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE RIGHT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .

• Disconnect the connector (1).
• Lever out soft-close automatic (2) from the holders (3).

• Detach counter support (1) at the trunk lid lock.
• Twist cable linkage (2) slightly and detach at trunk lid lock.
• Remove the Bowden cable (1), together with the soft-close motor, from the vehicle.
