Remove the side trim panel in the footwell at the left A-pillar

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
- Pull the hood release lever (1) to the rear.
- Lever out the locking mechanism (2).
- Remove the hood release lever (1) to the inside.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Loosen expanding rivet (2).
- Release the side trim panel (3) at the clips (4) and remove it toward the inside.
