Install the spindle drive of the lower trunk lid

Before installing the spindle drive (1), make sure that the retaining spring (2) is in its initial position.
Check the retaining spring (2) for damage.
If the retaining spring (2) is damaged, replace the spindle drive (1).

Insert the spindle drive (1).
Connect connector (3).

Press the ball socket (1) onto the ball pin, until the retaining spring correctly and audibly engages.
