Install chain tensioner

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Drain the oil chamber in the chain tensioner when reusing the chain tensioner.
Place the chain tensioner on a level support, slowly compress in direction of arrow and relieve it.
Catch and dispose of emerging motor oil.
Repeat process 2 times.

Replace the sealing sleeve (1).

Guide in and install the sealing sleeve (1) on the chain tensioner (2).

Tighten chain tensioner (2) with commercially available tools (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Chain tensioner to cylinder head
Chain tensioner	Joining torque	20 Nm
	Angle of rotation	40°
