Remove door lock

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove the attachment hood (2).
- Slacken screw (1).
- Carefully lead the Bowden cable (1) and the wiring harness (2) past the protective plate (3) and guide it out.
- Variant with soft-close function for doors:
Unlock and disconnect the plug connection at the soft-close motor (1).
Release the soft-close motor (1) from the door.
- Unclip locking rod (1).
- Disconnect the plug connection on the inside from the door lock (3).
- Unclip the wiring harness from the door lock (3) on the inside.
- Loosen screws (2) and (4).
- Guide out the door lock (3) together with the outer door handle support.
- Detach the linkage (1) from the door lock (2).
- Detach the Bowden cable (1).
- Detach the Bowden cable nipple (2).
