Replace the right cylinder head cover

- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the sealing cap (2).
- Replace O-ring (3).

- Position the sealing cap (2).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Sealing cap on cylinder head cover M6x25 screw tightening torque 10 Nm - Remount clamps (1) on the cylinder head cover (2).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Remove camshaft position sensors (1).
Check
- Check O-rings (1) on the camshaft position sensors for damage.
Result
» O-ring (1) damaged
Measure
- Replace O-ring (1).
Parts: O-ring

» O-ring (1) not damaged.
Measure
- Continue the repair in the next step.
- Coat O-ring of camshaft position sensor with engine oil.
- Position camshaft position sensors (1).
- Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover Torx screw M6 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Version A:
Loosen screws (1).
- Version A:
Remove liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Version A:
Position the liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Version A:
Tighten down screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSOil separator to cylinder head cover M6 screw tightening torque 10 Nm - Version B:
Loosen screws (1).
- Version B:
Remove liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Version B:
Position the liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Version B:
Tighten down screws (1).
