During work on the rear brake, it must be ensured that the button for the electromechanical parking brake cannot be pressed.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT WHEELS .
- Release union screw (1).
Hold on to square shaft, if necessary (2).
- Detach brake hose from holder (1).
- Detach brake hose (2) from brake caliper.
