Install brake caliper in the rear

• Fit and tighten brake hose (2)  on brake caliper.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Brake hose to brake caliper, rear
  	tightening torque	24 Nm

• Hook the brake hose into the holder (1)  .

  NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
  Incorrect routing of the brake hose  .
  If the brake hose is twisted or in contact with surrounding components, it can be damaged and cause the brake system to fail  .

  • Do not install the brake hose in a twisted position.

• Insert the brake hose (1)  into the body side holder.
• Make sure the retaining spring (2)  fits correctly!
• Attach and tighten the union screw (3)  .

• Refer to GREASE BRAKE PADS, BRAKE ANCHOR PLATE AND BRAKE CALIPER WITH BRAKE PAD PASTE .
• Refer to INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PADS .
• Refer to PLACING THE BRAKE PADS ON THE BRAKE DISK/PUTTING THEM INTO OPERATION .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT WHEEL .
• Refer to START-UP OR BEDDING IN BREAK-IN OF NEW BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS (REAR BRAKE) .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
• Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to FLUSH THE REAR BRAKE AND AIR BLEEDING (AFTER PART EXCHANGE) .
• Refer to DISCONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
