Removing the ornamental grille on the center bumper cover (M package)

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING SEAL FOR FRONT HOOD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP RIGHT AND LEFT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT WHEELS .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT AIR ROUTING TRIM (M PACKAGE) .
- Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
- Unclip the wiring harness (2) from all holders and set aside.NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Release the brace of the bumper cover (1) from the retaining lug (2) and bend it to the side.
- Release the ornamental grille of the center bumper cover (1) from the locks (arrows) and remove it.
