When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

Transmission wiring harness
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release screw (2)
and remove the ground cable.
- Unlock and disconnect connector (1)
on the air conditioning compressor.
- Release the wiring harness from the clamps (1)
and lay it open.
- Unlock and disconnect connector (1) on the transmission.
- Loosen the nut (2) and remove the ground cable.
- Unlock and disconnect connector (3) on the starter motor.
- Feed out wiring harness and remove.
