Remove rear entrance cover strip

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Version A:
- Lever out the illuminated sill trim (1) with a suitable tool from the locks (2) to the top.
- Disconnect the plug connection and remove the illuminated sill trim (1).
- Version A:
- Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
- Release the rear door sill cover strip (2) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) upwards at the clips (3) and detents (4).
- Version B:
- Release the rear door sill cover strip (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) upwards at the clips (2) and detents (3).
- Disconnect the plug connection and remove the rear door sill cover strip (1).
