Installing the spindle drive of the lower tailgate

• Before installing the spindle drive (1) ensure that the retaining spring (2) is in its initial position.
• Check the retaining spring (2) for damage, replace the spindle drive (1) if necessary.

• Insert the spindle drive (1).
• Connect connectors (3) and lock.

• Press the ball socket (1) onto the ball pin until the retaining spring snaps in correctly and audibly.
