Remove left and right output shaft

Remove left output shaft 

• Position the aluminum drift (1)  on the output shaft (2)  .
• Knock out the output shaft (2)  from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (1)  .

• Release swivel bearing (1) out of special tool  2 413 317  on the upper wishbone. 

  Do not allow swivel bearing (1)  to hang down from the brake hose.

• Guide out the output shaft (1)  in the arrow direction and remove.

  Secure the swivel bearing 

• Fasten the swivel bearing (1)  by using the special tool 2 413 317 to protect it from tilting outwards.

  Swivel bearing (1)  must not hang down from the brake hose.

  Remove right output shaft 

• Position the aluminum drift (2)  on the output shaft (1). 
• Knock out the output shaft (1)  from the front axle transmission with an aluminum mandrel (2)  .

• Release the swivel bearing (1)  from the special tool 2 413 317 on the upper wishbone.

• Pull the spring strut (1)  slightly forwards in the driving direction.
• Guide out the output shaft (2)  in the arrow direction and remove.

  Secure the swivel bearing 

• Fasten the swivel bearing (1)  by using the special tool 2 413 317 to protect it from tilting outwards.

  Swivel bearing (1)  must not hang down from the brake hose.
