Releasing the wiring harness section from the left hand cylinder head cover

Electrostatic discharge. 
Damage to or destruction of electrical components 

• Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
• Read and comply with user information on using associated special tool 12 7 060.
• Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
• Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections. 
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit. 

• Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.

• Release the wiring harness mounting in the areas (1).
• Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

• Release the wiring harness mounting in the areas (1).
• Loosen screw (2).
• Lay the grounding point (3) to one side.
• Place the wiring harness section (4) to the side.

• Release the wiring harness mounting (3).
• Release the wiring harness section (1) in the area (2).

• Unlock the holder (1).
• Carefully  pull the coolant hose (2) upwards over the refrigerant line (3) in the marked area and set aside.

• Carefully  press the coolant hose (1) downward into the initial position.

• Loosen screws (1).
• Release the wiring harness mounting (2).

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (3).
• Loosen screws (1).
• Lay the grounding point (2) to one side.
• Place the wiring harness section (4) to the side.
