Remove front door trim panel

Preliminary work

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
Releasing screws in the recessed grip (G05/G07)
- Press the cover (1) down at the arrow and remove.
- Loosen screws (2).
- Lever out the cover (1) using the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020)
and unscrew the screw underneath.
- Step is omitted for the G05 security vehicle .
- Lever out the cover (1) using the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020)
and unscrew the screw (2) underneath.
- Lever out the cover (1) using the special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020)
as depicted and unscrew the screw underneath.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unclip the door trim panel (1) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) on the clips.
- Feed the door trim panel (1) upwards out of the window channel strip and pull it away from the door a little.
- Detach the Bowden cable of the door opener (1) on the counter support (2).
- Detach the Bowden cable of the door opener (1) on the door lock (3).
- Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.
- Remove door trim panel.
