Installing front door window glass

- Insert the twisted door window glass (1) into the door frame (2).
- Insert the door window glass (1) into the rubber window seals by twisting it.
- Push the door window glass (1) fully upwards and secure it to the door frame (2) using adhesive tape.
The door window glass (1) must be positioned correctly in the rubber window seal.
- Shift the power windows upwards until the door window glass (1) correctly engages in both holders.
- Remove adhesive tape.

- Mount the special tool 0 492 609 (51 3 010) for easier handling of the side window (1).

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Insert the twisted door window glass (1) into the door frame (2).
- Insert the door window glass (1) into the rubber window seals by twisting it.
- Apply a drop of screw locking agent on the screw thread of the mounting bolt before screwing.
ADHESIVE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position side window with the assistance of a support person.
- Tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position the gas-filled shock absorber (1) on the ball heads and clip it in.
- Ensure that the ball heads engage correctly.
- Connect and lock the connector (1) of the side window.
- Attach the available cable bracket.
