Remove rear window

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVE THE TOP TRIM FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME .
Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE REAR WINDOW FRAMES .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Loosen screw (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Unclip the cable out of the cable brackets (3).

Loosen screw (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Unclip the cable out of the cable brackets (3).

Secure cable (1) to rear window with adhesive tape.

Tape off body in area of piercing point with fabric adhesive tape.
Push the thread (1) with the wire starter through the adhesive bead (2) along the line from the inside.
Cut out the rear window with spider.
