Remove upper heat shield

Prerequisite
- Ignition is switched off.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSOR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT LAMBDA OXYGEN SENSOR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT INTAKE SILENCER BRACKET .
Remove engine vent line of cylinders 5 to 8
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unlock the retaining clips (1) in an upward direction, using a suitable screwdriver.
- Remove the intake pipe (2) in an upwards direction.
- Guide out engine vent line (3) towards rear and remove.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove upper heat shield (2).
