Removing the protective plate on the roof

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Screw in the screws (1) by a few turns.
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Release screws (1) and (2).
- Remove the holder (3).
- Pull out the screws (1) by a few turns.
- Loosen screws (2).

It is mandatory to carry out the following steps with the help of 5 support persons:
1 person is present in the vehicle interior, 5 persons outside the vehicle.

- Release the screws (1) carefully.
- Carefully remove the protective plate on the roof from the vehicle through the tailgate cutout.
