Install the rear door sill cover strip
NOTE:

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Version A:
Check the clips (3) for damage and availability.
Damaged or missing clips (3) must be replaced.
Check the detents (4) for damage; if necessary, replace the rear door sill cover strip (2).
Correctly position the rear door sill cover strip (2) and engage at the clips (3) and the detents (4).
Mount the expanding rivets (1).
- Version A:
Check the detents (2) for damage, if necessary replace the illuminated sill trim (1).
Mount the illuminated sill trim (1) and connect and lock the connector while doing so.
Position the illuminated sill trim (1) and snap into the detents (2).
- Version B:
Connect and lock the connectors and correctly position the rear door sill cover strip (1).
Engage the rear door sill cover strip (1) and at the clips (2) and the detents (3).
