Installing the tailgate trim strip

Check if the hook and loop tapes (Dual-lock tapes) (1) on the left and right on the tail light are damaged and if they are available.
Damaged or missing hook and loop tapes must be replaced.

Check the hook and loop tapes (Dual-lock tapes) (1) on the tailgate trim strip (2) for damage.
Damaged or missing hook and loop tapes (Dual-lock tapes) (1) must be replaced.

NOTES ON BONDING WITH ADHESIVE TAPE ON PLASTIC
Check the detents on the tailgate trim strip (1) for damage, replace the trim strip (2) if necessary.

Position the tailgate trim strip (1) correctly and lock it in place at the trunk lid handle.
Snap-in the tailgate trim strip (1) at the hook and loop tapes (Dual-lock tapes) (2) on the left and right.
