Removing rear lower section of side trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR STRAP FITTING ON THE BODY .
- Refer to REMOVING C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE TRIM PANEL UPPER SECTION AT REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FLAP FROM THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON THE LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL FROM THE SIDE PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
- Release and remove the cover (1) upwards at the clips (2).
- Use a suitable tool to lever off the cover (1) from the lower section of side trim panel (4).
- Remove the expanding rivet (2).
- Release the rear lower section of side trim panel (4) to the front at the clips (3).
- Feed out the rear lower section of side trim panel (4) upwards and remove.
