If the fault memory entry "misaligned" is present and correct commissioning cannot be initiated, there is reason to suspect damage from an accident.
In this case, the vehicle must be examined carefully for damage. If necessary, damaged parts must be replaced. Then put the radar sensors into operation again.
A damaged/bent holder indicates mechanical misuse of the vehicle and will not be invoiced as a warranty case.

- Set up the special tools according to the operating instructions provided.
- Position special tool 5 A40 814 for shielding interference factors parallel lengthwise on the vehicle.
- The marked areas around special tool 5 A40 814
must be clear of people or objects.NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Leave special tool 5 A40 814 under tire (1).
- Align special tool 5 A40 814
with wheel hub (2) in the center in the marked area.
- Connect diagnostic system.
