Install right door sill trim panel

Precondition

Front door is open.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects.
Paint damage.

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing the door sill trim panel

Precondition

Front door is open.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects.
Paint damage.

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Replace the double-sided adhesive tape in the area (1).
Parts: Double-sided adhesive tape
Check the clips (2) and (3) for damage and replace where required.

Position the trim (1) at the snap-in lugs (2) and engage.

Position the door sill trim panel (1) on the vehicle with the trim (3).
Clip in the door sill trim panel (1) along the dotted line (2).

Clean the adhesive area (1).
