Fasten air conditioning compressor

Check if centering sleeves (1) are present on bearing bracket (2) for the air conditioning compressor and check them for damage. Replace the centering sleeves where required.

Position the air conditioning compressor (5).

Tighten down screws (4).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Air conditioning compressor to holder/engine
M8	tightening torque	22 Nm

Connect connectors (3) and lock.
The connector (3) must engage audibly.
Place drive belt (1) on belt pulley (2) of air conditioning compressor (5).
Maintain the preload on belt tensioner (1) using a suitable socket wrench (3).
Remove the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) (2) from the belt tensioner.

Loosen the belt tensioner (2) counterclockwise using a suitable socket wrench (1).
